LE ROLE DE LA FEMME DANS LA PRODUCTION AGRICOLE ET LA SECURITE ALIMENTAIRE AU TOGO : ETUDE DU CAS DE LA REGION DE LA KARA
Résumé
La femme joue un rôle prépondérant dans l'agriculture et la sécurité alimentaire dans la Région de la Kara. Ce rôle s'observe à travers son active participation à tous les niveaux de la production agricole dans l'exploitation familiale, la conservation et la transformation des produits vivriers. Mais, elle rencontre beaucoup d'obstacles dans sa contribution au développement agricole. Parmi ces obstacles, les difficultés d'accès à la terre, au crédit, à l'encadrement agricole, les problèmes de stockage des denrées alimentaires, l'emploi du temps surchargé demeurent les plus importants. Pour accroître la contribution de la femme à la production agricole et à la sécurité alimentaire dans la zone d'étude, il faudrait mener un certain nombre d'actions. Ces actions se résument en la lutte pour son accès à la propriété foncière, aux moyens de production et aux services.
Abstract
The woman plays a preponderant role in agricultural and food security in Kara region. This role shows throughout her active participation at all levels of the production of subsistence crops, their conservation and transformation within the family. But she encounters many obstacles in her contribution to rural development. Among these, the difficult access to land, funds, agricultural management, tight schedule and food stocking problems are the most important. To increase and ease the contribution of the woman as far as agricultural and food security are concerned, one must conduct a number of actions. The can be summed up to the fight for her access to land through the means of production and services.
