IMPACTS DE LA PROGRESSION DU FRONT D’URBANISATION ABIDJANAIS SUR LE DEVELOPPEMENT DE LA COMMUNAUTE VILLAGEOISE DE M’BADON
Résumé
La présente étude s’intéresse à la configuration spatiale et démographique du village de M’badon, suite aux avancées du front d’urbanisation dans la commune de Cocody. M’badon est une communauté villageoise Ebrié, rattachée à la commune de Cocody depuis 1980. Notre objectif est de mesurer les impacts socio spatiaux de l’avancée de la ville sur le développement du village. Il ressort de nos analyses que la communauté villageoise de M’badon est progressivement absorbé et phagocyté par l’urbanisation de la commune de Cocody. Sa périphérie est de plus en plus occupée par d’immenses chantiers pour la plupart des promotions immobilières.
De 3000 habitants en 1998, le village compte aujourd’hui 4850 habitants. La communauté villageoise de M’badon est progressivement devenu un espace ethnique mixte ou l’on rencontre toutes les couches sociales et ou les autochtones devenus minoritaires ne représentent que 31 % de la population.
Abstract
This study examines the spatial and population of the village of M'badon following the progress of urbanization in front of the town of Cocody. M'badon is a village community Ebrie attached to the municipality of Cocody since 1980. The objective of this study is to measure the impact of social space the advance of the city on the development of the village. It appears from our analysis that the village community to M'badon is gradually absorbed and swallowed up by urbanization of the municipality of Cocody. Its periphery is increasingly occupied by the vast majority of real estate. 3,000 inhabitants in 1998, the village now has 4850 inhabitants. The village community of M'badon gradually became a mixed ethnic and found all levels of society or become indigenous minority represent only 31% of the population.
