MUTATIONS SPATIALES DANS LA ZONE COTIERE DE GRAND-BASSAM, COTE D’IVOIRE
Résumé
Grand-Bassam est située à 47 km à l’est d’Abidjan. Elle constitue un ensemble complexe de plans d’eaux (eaux douces, eaux lagunaires, eaux de mer) et de terres (sables, marécages et plateaux) abritant des communautés d’êtres vivants, dont certains sont vulnérables et d’autres menacés d’extinction. La vulnérabilité du milieu est exacerbée par l’action anthropique qui ici apparaît comme le principal moteur de la dynamique des paysages. Les formations forestières se dégradent et reculent. Même les forêts marécageuses sont affectées. Cette évolution se fait au profit de l’agriculture extensive, grande consommatrice de terre. L’exploitation incontrôlée des ressources naturelles fait peser une grande menace sur la biodiversité.
Abstract
Grand-Bassam is located at 47 km in the east of Abidjan. It constitutes a complex whole of water levels (fresh waters, water lagunaires, sea waters) and grounds (sands, marshes and plates) sheltering communities of alive beings, of which some vulnerable and others are threatened of extinction. The vulnerability of the medium is exacerbated by the anthropic action which here seems the principal engine of the dynamics of the landscapes. The forest formations are degraded and moved back. Even the marshy forests are affected. This evolution is made with the profit extensive agriculture, large consuming ground. The uncontrolled exploitation of the natural resources makes weigh a great threat on the biodiversity.
